While I spent another lazy morning at home nursing my knee, Matt went to Chris' 4x4 Service Centre to finish working on Foxy. After doing several loads of laundry over the past few days, we now have a suitcase full of fresh clothes, bed sheets, pillow cases and duvet cover. I'm in love with the smell of clean laundry!

We then went to the Garden City Shopping Centre to have some lunch, browse the bookshop (me) and get a haircut (Matt). After swinging by the Ethiopian Embassy to pay ($20 each) and pick up our one-month visa, we returned home to do some painting on Foxy with Eloise and Ceria. We finished just as it started to rain.

Tonight we all went out to Fasika's for dinner, a popular Ethiopian restaurant nearby. We dined on delicious injera, curries and lentils, a tasty hint of the cuisine that was to come for us on our journey.

Back at home, the girls in bed, we watched an episode of TRIBE (where a guy goes into one of the most remote regions in the world and lives amongst the people). We saw the episode where he joins the Nakhuma Tribe in Ethiopia near Lake Turkana. Very interesting, and again, exciting to think we might meet some of them in a few day's time.
