Eleanor, her daughter-in-law Jia-mei and her two beautiful granddaughters, Yiliya and Laurasia, came to visit us at home.
Eleanor has been a dear friend of mine since our teaching experience in Zhuozhou in Hebei province, China. It is always a pleasure to see her and catch up. There are certain people who you meet in life and go through intense experiences with, and because of that, those bonds just continue to grow stronger despite time and distance. Eleanor is one of those treasured friends.
