Single-laned highways, speeding trucks, unseasonably cold weather, horizontal rain, and wind - oh the WIND!
Take all that, and throw in the need to be perpetually on 'high alert' for the deer and moose that dart out from the forest and you get a sense of how we're feeling by the end of the day.
That has been our Ontario experience so far. We crossed into this humongous province a few days ago, and we're still trying to get around the Lakes!
We are so close, 1023 km left to go. And that is why we need to be even more careful...."many a slip twixt cup and lip".
